How can I be writing that title already when summer's just begun? I'm not sure I'd remember much of what happened if it weren't for my obsession with picture taking and this blog. It's been a wonderful blur of sorts though, and while my foggy brain may need a vacation after being without my other half for 8 weeks, I'm so very thankful for this time with the wee people.
be a shark awaiting his sister or prey while swimming at a friend's woodland retreat,
perform a heart ceremony for Build a Bear or in their case, build a My Little Pony,
spend the last day of swim class with face in water, doggy paddling, floating, and becoming a fish,
get our dog fix until we can have our own one day,
embrace her inner Kristina, who she clearly shares some genes with.
The next three days will be, I'm sure, a wonderful end to our adventures. We're heading to the outskirts of Saint Louis to see some of our favorite people, fish, and explore.
I'll be back (blog wise) Thursday with some great resources I've found for organizing a family binder and a look at some of what Miss. S and I will be using when we begin school next Monday!
Always bittersweet when good things come to an end, but so, so much goodness to be found in new beginnings.
Happy week to you!
